Rolling, Rolling
Training huddles, Skype checkups with colleagues across Europe, hosting teammates, preparing talks and Sunday School lessons, and helping a friend to move: those are just a few of the activities that have featured in the last three weeks. Many are the opportunities to minister to individuals and serve local spiritual communities.
On a personal level, MaryAnn learned this morning of the death of her cousin Johnny - which brought a sense of loss, in spite of the distance. And just yesterday, Anne broke her foot during a drama exercise.
On the positive side, Megane continues to do VERY well at school. And she is helping build the youth group at the Frankley church.
To say the least, there is no time to get bored . . .
Finally BACK!
We have been away FAR too long, getting used to our new life in Birmingham - and adapting to many new aspects of life here. For most of the autumn, we posted no updates. Sorry for the "radio silence" on our site!
We enjoyed the holidays with all three girls home for Christmas - and MaryAnn's parents were with us for two weeks.
2012 is off to a good start - and we look forward to see what God has in store for us and those in the various "circles" where we turn.
